VBP Explorer Version 1.1 - Readme file
--------------------------------------
What is new in Version 1.1
* You are able to view files
* You are able to open a .VBP file using Visual Basic 4 from the outline view
* You are able to specify search paths and start the search from the same
screen.
1. System Requirements
-------------------
VBP Explorer requires the following to install and run:
* 32-bit Visula Basic 4.
* 32-bit Operating System (Win 95 or WinNT 3.51 or later)
As for platform considerations, (RAM, disk space, etc.) it boils
down to this. If you can run VB4 on the box, you can certainly run
VBP Explorer.
2. Restrictions
------------
* This product will only install and run in the following
environment:
> 32-bit Visual Basic 4
> 32-bit Operating System (Win 95 or WinNT 3.51 or later)
* Unregistered version only searches one path. There are no such
limits in the registered version
* Reports can only be printed using the registered version.
3. Sample Reports
--------------
The following sample reports are available in the installed
directory:
VBPP1.rtf - Full details of all the projects and their components
VBPP2.rtf - Cut down version of VBP1.RTF
VBPP3.rtf - A list all the projects found in the specified paths
VBPC1.rtf - Full details of all the components and their related
projects
VBPC2.rtf - A list of all the components referenced in the searched
projects
These reports were produced by processing all the VBP files in
the VB4 Sample directory.
As the reports are saved in RTF format some formatting has been
lost.
If you open the report files with MSWORD then the headers and
footers are only displayed when you view the report in print
preview mode.
4. Known Problems
